Comment by Juror

I think “Kiri Ehon” describes the deep sea with monochrome paper cuts has a charm that make readers feel heart-warming among many colourful and rich contens applied to the award. I think it will be more fun if the world become more elaborated and expanded. (Koji Ishikawa, picture book writer)

A unique characteristic of a paper cutout is applied to a Digital Ehon. Readers can enjoy a walk in the deep see guided by a football fish with an easy operation only by fingers. From the start point of an anologue style as paper cutout, this work is full of originality and contructed from unigue and beautiful world with the light and smooth interective features which is specific to digital.
